Martin Rendle LLCM, FASC, FGMS

Martin Rendle

Martin began singing as a chorister in his local church choir and later sang for five years with Snowdown Male Voice Choir. He went on to study singing and turned professional in 1995, attaining his performer's diploma at the London College of Music.

 

He has been a regular performer of opera, operetta and oratorio and has toured in the United Kingdom and overseas with companies such as European Chamber Opera, London City Opera, Opera Box and Columbia Artists. He has also appeared at the Royal Albert Hall in the Raymond Gubbay productions of Madam Butterfly, Aida and La Bohème.

 

Martin is an experienced singing teacher and has worked in a number of educational establishments and drama schools, as well as teaching at his own studio in St Nicholas at Wade. His pupils range from children to adults and include experienced professional performers from theatre and television.

 

Martin joined Kent Police Male Voice Choir as our Musical Director in January 2011 and is also Musical Director for Thanet Male Voice Choir.
